Empowering Independence: Supporting Older Adults to Thrive in Their Own Homes
Our homes represent the heart of our families, communities, and well-being, making it natural for older adults to want to stay in their familiar surroundings as they age.
However, the obstacles they encounter can make this desire difficult to achieve, creating a pressing need for comprehensive support systems that assist older adults and their families in navigating these challenges.
Through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) — a joint Medicare and Medicaid initiative established in California since the 1970s — we empower older adults to receive care that allows them to stay in their communities.
